Tally has stared certification course like other courses Oracle, Microsoft, SAP etc. This certification is to be given after completion of online examination.

The certification exam is covered two parts. One is Tally Financial Accounting and the other one is Tally Certified Technology Professional.

CEPT Library Information:

CEPT library is one of the best library with approximately more than 30,000 books including various materials relating to architecture, interior design, construction technology, management, urban planning, economics, rural planning, environment planning etc. There are also more than 90 periodicals (including Indian as well as Foreign) journals. This library is fully computerised, so it is very easy to search any type of book with any type of author name. The library is open for whole day i.e. about 12 to 14 hours a day.

The main mission of library is to provide some important guidance and some other useful information to the CEPT members as well as visitors also.

More than 4400 drawings are available in the library which is prepared by the students during their academic programmes. This attracts both national as well as international visitors also. Besides this facility the library has much collection of various types of CDs, DVDs etc. Automatic check in and check out facility for issue and return of books is available here.

During the academic session i.e. from July to April, library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday it is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

During vacation period i.e. from May to June, it is open from 8:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday it is totally closed.

The age limit to join IAS course is between 21 to 30 years. There is some relaxable in age limit for SC / ST / OBC categories.

If you have bachelor degree from recognised university, you can easily join IAS course. It is necessary for you to learn at least any of the following subjects during your bachelor degree: Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology etc.

Candidate is required to fill up an application form to appear in IAS examination. A nominal value of Rs. 100/- is to be taken as fee. There is no fees for SC / ST / Physically Handicapped Candidates.

To fill up form is is very simple, it includes general information of candidates like Name, Date of Birth, Father Name, Address, Photograph etc. You must be careful to fill up this form i.e. without spelling mistake it should be completed.

You have to select only one language from the list of 18 Indian Languages.

Preparation for IAS:

Before a long period of time only three centers covered for IAS examination namely Delhi, Patna and Allahabad. Recently most of the cities are covered for this examination in every state. Before a long time only history, Sociology etc. were selected as main subjects. But now some other subjects are come into existence and they are to be taken as main subjects.

You have to set plan for General Studies preparation. Books of S.S.C. and H.S.C. books played an important part in this section. Most of the candidates prepared in terms of Reading without understanding its meaning and they are not success in examination. Preliminary Examination:

Preliminary examination is to be held in either May or in June month. Two papers are covered under preliminary examination. One is General Studies and other one is Optional Subject. In optional subject you will choose e from various subjects list i.e. Psychology, Sociology, Agriculture, Maths, Statistics etc. Result of this examination is to be declared in the month of July or August. After success in Prelim exam, all successful candidates are called for the Main examination.

Main Examination:

Main examination is to be held in the month of either October or in the month of November. It takes about three hours of each and covered nine papers in all. Successful candidate in the main exam is eligible for an interview.

Interview:

Generally interview call is to be held in the month of either March or April. The number of candidates called for an interview are twice than the actual vacancy.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

IELTS is an English Language Proficiency test that is required in that countries whose medium of instruction is English. IELTS is accepted by various universities in the world particularly UK, New Zealand, Canada, Australia etc. It is managed by combination of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council, and IDP IELTS Australia.

IF you want Student Visa for Australian country you must reach at IELTS score if you are living in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and some other countries also. In USA IELTS is not accepted by major universities but TOFEL is required there.

British Council is conducted IELTS Test. You can find out your nearest test centre to give your IELTS exam. You must collect IELTS application form and also handbook. The dully filed application form send to the test centre with payment of necessary fees. Later on you will be informed your test date and your test time also.

Various types of short term coursed available to prepare IELTS examination. You can choose which one is best for you and select it. Results of the test will come within 15 days from the date of exam finished.

IELTS exam is divided by various types of sections. Total time duration for test is Two hours and Forty Five Minutes.

1. First section is known as The Listening Section and total time required to complete this section is 30 minutes.

2. Second section is known as Academic Reading or General Training Reading Section and total time required to complete this section is 60 minutes.

3. Third section is known as Academic Writing or General Training Writing Section and total time required to complete this section is 60 minutes.

4. Fourth one is known as Speaking Section and total time required to complete this section is 15 minutes.

The score range between 5.0 to 7.5 is accepted. It is different with different types of institutions at which you are applying to. Main requirement of Band Score is between 6.0 to 6.5. Test report is valid for two years only.

You will join again this test, if you have not covered your required score. You must take a gap of at least three months from your previous test date.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET)

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) exam is held in two Sundays in July during the year. One Sunday it is held for entrance exam to MBA course and the other Sunday it is held for MCA course. There are around 3500 seats are available for MBA institutes and about 1600 to 1700 seats are available for MCA institutes. All these institutes are covered in the area of Gujarat. Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a National Entrance Test which is conducted by CMS (Centre for Management Services).  CMS is the specialized division of AIMA. MAT exam is necessary to those who want to get admission in MBA.

To appear get admission in MAT you must be graduate from recognized university. Students who is studying in the final year is also eligible for MAT Exam.
