M.Phil. - Master of Philosophy is a pre-doctorate degree course which is relating to research. It is the best research degree program. This is the postgraduate course which require to completion of thesis. You can do M.Phil. from the various selection of subjects. Those who want to become good career in educational side, M.Phil. is the best program for them. This program is just lower than Ph.D. program but it is higher than Bachelor of Philosophy i.e. B.Phil. degree. If you join in M.Phi. program, normally it takes at least 18 months to complete course as a full time basis. If you do it on part time basis, it takes period of 36 months for completion. Maximum period of M.Phil. is two years in full time and four years in part time.

Any candidate who is completed Master degree in the fields of Arts or Science or Commerce or Management or Engineering or Computer Science or Agriculture or Law is eligible for M.Phil. Course. Time duration of this course is generally one year. Examination is to be conducted each of the year June 25-29 and in December 27-31. Total Cost to complete this course is approximately INR 15000.00

Important of Thesis in M.Phil. Course:

M.Phil. course is incomplete without submission of Thesis. A thesis is an important part of M.Phil. Course. It is prepared in such a way so that it length not exceed more than 60,000 words. Thesis must be written in English language only. In few cases only other language is to be allowed if Director gives permission for that.

When you write a Thesis you must be aware from correct English language, no mistake in grammar, set in different types of paragraphs. You can take care about your thesis. You must be aware that Examiner must be satisfied with your thesis. If your thesis is good, you get good result also. At the time of submission of thesis following is essentials: Name and Degree of Author’s, Title of the Thesis, Month and Year etc. Your thesis is like so beautiful that every one is like to read it. You must submit thesis in your own work and not copy from elsewhere. Each of the important points which is very important is required to be mentioned clearly in thesis also.

Examiners for thesis are to be appointed by the Director of the University. Generally two examiners are to be appointed for thesis purpose. Each of the examiner prepare a report on thesis which is given by you. After preparation of report, M.Phil. degree is to be awarded to the candidate only who submitted thesis.
