In the year 2005, Gujarat University has restarted the A.D.Shodhan IAS Training Centre. It has started three months self finance programmes with 27 students. Basically it is good for Civil Service Exam of UPSC. The centre is opened for students to read, to discuss etc. The centre plans to introduce also programmes for GPSC, NET or SLET etc. examinations
