If you want to go for Management side GMAT is must for you. In addition to MBA, some of other masters programmes, GMAT is important. In US, Cananda and some selected universities in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore etc. also consider GMAT scores. Your undergraduate record and work experience is also count. More than 900 management institutes around the world want GMAT scores from each of the candidate. The GMAT tests included Reasoning and Comprehension. The GMAT test is developed by the US based Pearson VUE under the direction of GMAC, a non-profit organisation of graduate business schools worldwide. GMAT Test:

At least six months are required for GMAT preparation. Now GMAT is a computerized test which offers many new challenges. There is no age or qualifications required for GMAT test.

Who can take GMAT?

If you want to get admission in US universities, atleast 16 years of education is required for this. In some universities three years of work experience is considered instead of 16 years of education If you academic record is higher value, a good GMAT score can give you admission in top university.

GMAT structure:

Total time duration for GMAT is three and half hours or 210 minutes.

Verbal section: This section’s time limit is 75 minutes and included total 41 questions.

Math section: This section’s time limit is 75 minutes and included total 37 questions.

Analytical writing: This section’s time limit is 30 minutes and included two segments i.e. two essay writing.

GMAT Score

Total score for GMAT is 800. majority of score is between 400 and 600. If you get 700 and above score, you will success in it. Analytical writing score separately in a range from 0 to 6 and you get it for 5 and above.

GMAT score is valid for five years.
