To get admission in CEPT university, Bachelor Degree in Architecture is necessary. If a student appearing in the final year can also apply here.
Admission test which is conducted at Ahmedabad is necessary to get admission in CEPT university. Candidates who have passed H.S.C. Examination by Gujarat State with Mathematics compulsory subject and get aggregate at least 50 % marks is eligible. There is some exemption in percentage for SEBC / ST / SC candidates.
Application forma and some other useful information is available after paying Rs. 500/- by cash or by demand draft in favour of “Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Payable at Ahmedabad”.

In the month of May, Admission procedure is to be conducted by CEPT university. You can collect application form from the CEPT office for giving your entrance test to get admission. More further information about CEPT you can check through online internet also.
There are different types of under graduate programmes and different types of entrance tests to be held. Candidate must pass this examination. NATA test is necessary to qualify.
CEPT Library Information:
CEPT library is one of the best library with approximately more than 30,000 books including various materials relating to architecture, interior design, construction technology, management, urban planning, economics, rural planning, environment planning etc. There are also more than 90 periodicals (including Indian as well as Foreign) journals. This library is fully computerised, so it is very easy to search any type of book with any type of author name. The library is open for whole day i.e. about 12 to 14 hours a day.
The main mission of library is to provide some important guidance and some other useful information to the CEPT members as well as visitors also.
More than 4400 drawings are available in the library which is prepared by the students during their academic programmes. This attracts both national as well as international visitors also. Besides this facility the library has much collection of various types of CDs, DVDs etc. Automatic check in and check out facility for issue and return of books is available here.
During the academic session i.e. from July to April, library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday it is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
During vacation period i.e. from May to June, it is open from 8:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday it is totally closed.
In addition to CEPT members, Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers etc. from ahmedabad can use this library facility.
Photocopy facility is also available in the library with a nominal cost.
CEPT library members can use The British Library and NID Library, because CEPT library has membership with these two.
CEPT library provides some useful information like reading room facility, article index of selected periodicals, display of new arrival of various books, journals, current awareness service to faculty member through e-mail. Each of the Sunday any types of new arrivals are displayed near the issue counter.
